Training

Our techniques are simple, and we try to keep things easy to understand. We follow proven methods, from experience and testing many concepts with our own personal dogs. So yes, we practice what we preach. 

• Adverse control (punishment) to eliminate bad behaviors for the purpose of  creating an inhibition. 

• "NO" will have a vaule and not something you say repeatively hopeing your dog will understand after the 10th time. 

Punishment is not the same as abuse:

1. Punishment-any change that occurs after a behavior that reduces the likelihood that behavior will happen again in the future.

2. Abuse-to treat (a person or an animal) with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatdly.

Food based rewards paired with a clicker act as a "good", to establish wanted behaviors we want repeated,  (SIT, DOWN, HEEL, etc.).
